The Soul Colors Project is my creative endeavor to build an understanding of the diverse ways people can express their gender identities and sexual orientation. I've been a successful wedding and portrait photographer since 1999. I love working with all kinds of people and deeply believe in equality and social justice.
Most importantly, I believe in art's power to build connections. As a teen, I fell in love with photography and dreamed of working for Life Magazine as a writer/photographer who would use journalism and my camera to bring the wideness of the world into people's hearts. I'm sincere when I say, "Your story matters." Life is precious, complicated, painful, inspiring, and simply too short.
I hope to capture portraits that expand our notions and disassemble our unconscious bias. I hope you'll enjoy my photographs and, more importantly, that you'll see the humanity they represent.
